Eclectic Country Getaway

The Dilemma:
One of your favorite creators releases 2 amazing Homes with matching furnishings/decor within two weeks of each other.

The Solution:
Pick your favorite of the two homes then purchase items from both releases to decorate the home.

…Or at least this was my solution.

I had already fell in love with DRD’s Garden House release from the current round of Shiny Shabby when I seen previews of DRD’s release for the June round of The Arcade. So I decided to mix and match the two sets. I also added some other items from more of my favorite creators and I ended up with this very charming, eclectic country getaway.

May Home 2016

I have a small addiction to homes in SL. Mainly, county type cottages. Each month I try to set up and decorate a new home so that all of the ones I purchase get some use and just don’t sit unopened in my inventory. This month I picked up the beautiful and quint Mockingbird Nook house by Scarlet Creative. It is available at the May Collarbor88 event. But, now it is time to tear down this beautiful home and get the spot ready for June’s home. I will definitely miss this cute, little, cozy home! But, I can not wait to see what new things Scarlet Creative comes up with during 2016!

Casual Afternoon

I was very happy to be able to get nearly all the Midnight Madness event items that I had my eyes on for May. I’m sure it won’t happen again D: This lovely little outdoor furniture set is from the Midnight Madness event. It is made by What Next and is called “Coastal” Marlow Chairs & Decor. I also got the “darker” Marlow set also from this event that I will show in a later post.
